The door to the Holy Place was a curtain made similar to the entrance
to the Outer Court. It had the same material and same color - blue, purple,
red and white of the fine twined linen. Again it speaks of Christ being the
Heavenly One (blue), the Royal One (purple), the Sacrificed One (red) and the
Righteous One (white). The first entrance to the Outer Court represents
salvation through Jesus Christ. But the door to the Holy Place (the house of
God, the church) represents sanctification through Christ (Ephesians
5:23-27). This curtain was hang upon golden hooks on five
pillars. The pillars were made of acacia wood overlaid with gold and stood
in sockets of bronze.
